José Cuevas de la Cruz

José Cuevas de la Cruz was born in Ciudad Real in November 1959.

In 1986 he obtained the university degree of Technical Engineer of Public Works in Civil Constructions from the Polytechnic School of Madrid, and in 2004 he completed the Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention with the specialties of Safety and Health at Work and Industrial Hygiene, taught by the renowned Fundación Mapfre Estudios. José speaks Spanish, French and English.

In addition to the positions he has held in the companies for which he has worked, José has collaborated with the University of Granada as a speaker at various seminars on Safety and Health at Work and has been a member of the Safety and Security Committee for many years. Health at Work of the Spanish Association of Construction Companies (SEOPAN), collaborating as a trainer for recently incorporated Labor Inspectors. He has also been a member of the Occupational Risk Prevention Working Group of the Association of Engineering, Assembly, Maintenance and Industrial Services Companies (ADEMI).

Lastly, it should be noted that José has intervened as a speaker at several conferences on the effective integration of Occupational Risk Prevention Management Systems in the value chain, in different sectoral forums.
