Cuevas & Montoto Consultores is to help Kinexon to comply with EN ISO/IEC 27001 in Germany and the USA

Cuevas & Montoto Consultores has recently signed a contract with the German company Kinexon for which it will provide bilingual consulting support (in Spanish and English) to obtain the EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017 Information Security certification, and to comply with level 2 (L2) of TISAX, the information security standard followed by the German association of the automotive industry, VDA (Verband der Automobilindustrie), with scope to cover the activities carried out at its headquarters in Munich (Germany) and at its headquarters in Chicago (USA). 

With the implementation of the international standard EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017 on Information Security, the German company undertakes to work at both locations following a security standard higher than that set out in the contractual and legal obligations that currently apply to both Germany and the USA. On the other hand, complying with the L2 level of the TISAX standard will allow Kinexon to demonstrate to its German VDA member clients that the information they share with it, necessary to provide the services they contract, will be managed in a controlled and secure manner.

This contract represents a new bilingual consultancy project for Cuevas & Montoto Consultores, after others carried out previously, such as the one carried out in Spanish and English with the Libyan company ‘Alhamra’ (Grupo Lafico), to help them obtain and maintain ISO Quality certification (ISO 9001), or that carried out in Spanish and French with Valoriza Agua (Sacyr Group) where we helped them obtain the ISO Quality (ISO 9001) and Environment (ISO 14001) certifications in one of their desalination plants located in Algeria.

Likewise, with this new contract, Cuevas & Montoto Consultores expands its portfolio of international clients, and achieves a first project related to the EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017 Information Security standard in a client in the ICT sector, specialised in IoT services (Internet of Things).
