Cuevas & Montoto Consultores evalúa la sede del Grupo FCC en Madrid bajo criterios de Accesibilidad Universal

Cuevas & Montoto evaluates the headquarters of the FCC Group under the DALCO criteria of Universal Accessibility

Cuevas & Montoto Consultores has signed a consultancy contract with the FCC Group to assess the level of compliance with the DALCO Universal Accessibility Criteria at its headquarters in Madrid.

The project will consist, firstly, of analysing the facilities present at the FCC Group headquarters in Madrid in order to design tailored checklists. Then, in a subsequent phase, we will carry out a detailed diagnosis of the compliance level of each DALCO criteria (DALCO being an acronym of the Spanish words Deambulación, Aprehensión, Localización y Comunicación -ambulation, seizure, localisation, and communication in English-) in accordance with the Universal Accessibility requirements set out in the UNE 170001-1:2007 standard (Part 1: DALCO criteria to facilitate accessibility to the environment). The result of this diagnosis will allow the FCC Group to decide then if it chooses to implement an Accessibility Management System at its headquarters in Madrid, to later certify it under the UNE 170001-2:2015 standard (Part 2: Accessibility management system).

For Cuevas & Montoto Consultores, this project means expanding its client portfolio by adding a world leader in environmental services and the construction and operation of infrastructures, such as the FCC Group, as well as strengthening its advisory area on Corporate Social Responsibility, adding this to other projects previously carried out for other clients in this same area, such as that carried out for Ballesol, consisting of the preparation of a Risk Matrix and Checklists for the correct management of criminal and non-criminal ‘Compliance’ in its Care Centres for Dependent Elderly People, or the one that it maintains with the Austrian Kapsch Group, in relation to the preparation, monitoring and updating of their Equality Plans in Spain, or those carried out for Servired, both to help them in the definition of a new strategy of CSR, as well as to advise them in the management of their Value Chain.
